Nurturing My Inner Child
Work with our therapists Bernadette Chin, Dawn Tan and emotions centred coach Ignatius Quek to develop life skills to build up and support a healthy inner child within you.

We work with clients aged 5 years old and above on regulating emotions, practicing emotional literacy, nurturing healthy boundaries in relationships, nurturing self worth (and overcoming imposter syndrome).

We help nurture our inner child so that we feel, think and act in a wholesome and aligned way, deepened in spiritual growth and the cultivation of virtues.
Emotional Regulation Programme
A foundational pillar of building self-awareness and healing is the ability to self-regulate. We help our clients build resilience through re-acquainting them with cues of safety. Using immersive sound scapes and technology enabled VR tools, we work with Calm3D to provide support beyond the therapy setting, helping clients calm down and feel at peace.

We use the Safe and Sound Protocol, a listening programme backed by the research of Dr Stephen Porges and colleagues, which has been scientifically proven to help clients regulate, including children with autism.
Nurturing a Sense of Self
Discover what you value and what your needs are. Have you wondered how stress, anxiety and anger comes about? Beyond the childhood experiences that shaped who we are and what we value, each time a fundamental need is not being met, we are at risk of reinforcing a belief about who we are.

It is time to peel off the layers and establish healthy boundaries, perception of self, and allow that dialogue within the parts of you to come to an alignment, so that you can live a complete life from this moment on.

We work specifically on:
1. Setting healthy boundaries for you.
2. Understanding anxiety and relief.
3. Stress relief.
4. Anger management.
5. Relationships therapy.
6. A healthy relationship with self.
7. Life coaching on a personal goal.

Our sessions are $250 an hour and $750 including a psychotherapy session and 6 months subscription of the Safe and Sound Protocol and immersive sound therapy. Work with us to nurture your inner child today.

Safe and Sound Protocol Singapore
What is the purpose of Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP)?
Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP) helps clients to be in a physiological state conducive to well-being. SSP is a great way to support our clients through therapy and in their personal development and it has been used to treat patients to overcome anxiety, inattention and to gain focus.
How does the Safe and Sound Protocol look like?
Safe and Sound Protocol is a consists of 3 listening programmes, the Core, Balance and Connect. Each programme is a series of one-hour listening modules, which is typically self-administered over a several months, for a couple of minutes each session before extending further in a "Stretch and Savour" method. A typical session begins with a trained SSP practitioner. An assessment is done together with the SSP practitioner to understand the client's physiological state is and to determine where to begin in the SSP listening programme.

At My Inner Child Healing, you will learn to incorporate emotional regulation activities into the Safe and Sound Protocol. Techniques such as grounding, mindfulness, tactile and sensory processing will be useful to help soothe and foster calmness as you journey with us.
How does Safe and Sound Protocol Work?
Cues of safety is communicated through the filtered music and delivered through headphones (without noise cancelling or any other filters). Entering through the ear drums, the music interacts with the nervous system, stimulating the vagus nerve which promotes social engagement. The music first starts with narrow range of sound frequencies and this assists the client to familiarise with the programme and to start practicing regulation, learning to feel calm. Over the course of 5 hours in the SSP Core programme, the band widens as the client is progressively more able to practice regulation and feels safe doing so.
I'm already seeing a therapist, why do I need this?
We work with clients undergoing various forms of therapy because the ability to reconnect with a sense of safety and security is essential in the healing journey. Research have demonstrated that a therapy outcome is more successful when there is a therapeutic alliance formed (research link here) and the client is able to co-regulate with the therapist. SSP helps this process.
How much does Safe and Sound Protocol Cost in Singapore?
Safe and Sound Protocol costs $750 inclusive of a 1 hour consultation, 6 months subscription to the listening programme and ongoing support from the SSP practitioner. Accompanying your journey will be the immersive sound therapy programme which includes access to My Inner Child Healing therapy and visualisation guided audio and a loan of a Meta Quest VR goggle.
